One Voice Community Center

Correction, there was a GLBT community center before 1VCC. It was located near the NW corner of Camelback and Central Ave, but unfortunately closed its doors in the early part of this decade. Among other things, it housed the original Valley One In Ten and Horizons youth programs. I became involved in the latter and helped me in the coming out process and I met many great people.
I am glad to see the 1VCC officially open its doors. Perhaps I will get involved on some level.
